The balance of the London Dry style plays well with these ingredients. We use lemon and three kinds of orange peel in this distillate, with angelica root adding a nice sweet and earthy undertone to the drink.

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ Parts Temple Distilling Chapter One London Dry Gin

1 Part Pamplemousse

1 Part Fresh Lemon Juice

1 Part Lillet Rose

Dash of Orange Bitters


DIRECTIONS

Shake until chilled and strain into a Nick & Nora glass, garnish with a rose bud.

Footnote: Lillet Blanc also works great, and if there is no grapefruit liqueur on hand any kind of citrus liqueur will work well. If you really want to step things up, try Chartreuse in place of the Lillet.
