A CURE FOR SCURVY
The lime and grapefruit peel used in the gin distillation, combined with the higher proof, impart a beautiful citric brightness to the classic gimlet. And they cure scurvy, trust us.
½ Part Fresh Lime Juice
½ Part Simple Syrup
Dash of Aromatic Bitters
Shake all ingredients until ice cold, strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lime peel.
Footnote: Add a splash of St Germain or other floral liqueur to elevate the flavor profile.
